Dr. Kaveh Asadi Pediatric Neurosurgeon

Dr. Kaveh Asadi is a board-certified adult and pediatric neurosurgeon specializing in pediatric neurosurgery, craniofacial disorders, neuro-oncology, and complex spinal conditions. He joined the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in 2022, where he works closely with multidisciplinary teams to expand neurosurgical care for patients with dysplasia, neuromuscular disorders, arthrogryposis, and other complex congenital conditions.

Prior to joining the Paley Institute, Dr. Asadi served as Director of Pediatric Skull Base Surgery and Neurosurgical Oncology and Co-Director of the Craniofacial Surgery and Neurofibromatosis Center at AdventHealth for Children Hospital in Orlando. His clinical expertise includes minimally invasive neurosurgery, neuroendoscopy, tethered cord release, selective dorsal rhizotomy, craniofacial surgery, Chiari malformation, syringomyelia, spinal dysraphism, and pediatric brain and spinal tumors.

Dr. Asadi completed his neurosurgery residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the Julius-Maximilian University Würzburg School of Medicine and received his PhD from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in Germany.In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Asadi is actively involved in academic neurosurgery and is affiliated with several national and international neurosurgical organizations focused on pediatric and complex neurological care.
