Maya Brinster

Maya Brinster began working at the MGH Paralysis Center in 2024 and has since been involved in both clinical and research initiatives.

She has managed data analysis for the Center’s main non-human primate study, worked as a scribe in clinic, and currently participates in various clinical research projects. Maya recently earned her Master of Public Health from Northeastern University and will begin medical school at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine this summer. She hopes to pursue a career in reconstructive surgery while continuing to contribute to research aimed at improving outcomes for patients with nerve injuries.
